This recipe is from the Montreal newspaper
Metro, which was of the source Recettes du Québec. In this cake I used less fatted
mascarpone cheese instead of butter, baking soda instead of ammonium
bicarbonate (E503), and added additional buttermilk for the dough. As the
vanilla flavor, I used sugar flavored with natural vanilla, not vanillin that
is artificial and not salubrious.

Fresh mint and lemon balm sorbet with melon / Mätovo - medovkový sorbet s melónom / Sorbet à la menthe fraîche et à la mélisse avec melon
Sorbet, a non-fat alternative to ice cream, is an ice
dessert made from sweetened water flavoured with the fruit juice or liqueur.
The fruit sorbet is a refreshing dessert for hot summer days. The following
recipe flavours the sorbet with the herbs such as mint and lemon balm and is
served with melon. The recipe is suitable for gardeners who grow herbs in their
gardens.
